Another successful Doodle Playdate on Friday with 9 fabulous people! And I think we’re all addicted. We had so much fun, and I was reminded of the importance of play and laughter, to keep life light.
Teens seem to find this process a bit more challenging than the adults. I find that very interesting. But when they ‘get it’, when they can let go and get into the flow of their creative intuition, instead of trying to make a “nice picture” or a “good drawing”, then amazing things show up. The mom of the 13 year old who attended on Friday has already framed her daughter’s doodle. It has a very primal, tribal feel to it.
And one doodler went home and doodled for hours instead of getting ready for her training, she doodled this:
